About Us
Muhammad Rosulullah Islamic Centre (MRIC)
MRIC is an Islamic Centre situated in the beautiful heart of Lagos and spurred by the love of Allah to foster a community bound by spiritual growth and understanding of the deen. We are globally recognised for teaching and mirroring the teachings of Islam as well as the path of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Spreading the glory of Islam and educating people on the teachings of the prophet is not something that can be done alone; that’s why our community is open to everyone with a shared commitment to spiritual growth and development to join.
Through education, community empowerment, conferences (local & international), family fun fair, etc, we are dedicated to propagating Islam and its teachings while spreading the glory of Rosul. We are on a journey to keep the flag of spiritual development and the moral principles of islam flying.
Establishing the love of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) in the heart of every muslim across the globe is one of the many driving forces that birthed MRIC as a community. Religious concepts and practices include the five pillars of Islam, which are obligatory acts of worship, and following Islamic law, which touches on virtually every aspect of life and society, from banking and welfare to women and the environment. The cities of Mecca, Medina and Jerusalem are home to the three holy sites in Islam.
Muslims believe that Islam is the complete and universal version of a primordial faith that was revealed many times before through prophets including Adam, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus. As for the Quran, Muslims consider it to be the unaltered and final revelation of God. It teaches that we are rewarded with paradise and with hell.
